Henry Franklin Jent, 94, died at a Bowling Green nursing home after a lengthy illness.

The Allen County native was a retired farmer and World War I Army veteran.

He was the husband of the late Bessie Law Jent and a son of the late Willie Washington and Sarah Hawkins Jent.

Survivors include a daughter, Moretis "Rita" Galloway of Bowling Green;

a son, Aubrey Clay Jent of Walnut Creek, California;

a sister,, Leona Emma Wheeley of Haysville, TN.;

two brothers, William "Billy" Jent of Lafayette, TN., and Joseph Harlin Jent of Indianapolis, IN.;

two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

I was friends with 'Rita'...she loved telling the story of her grandparents...Willie and Sarah...one would eat the yolk and the other would eat the white of an egg
