Lloyd A. Snyder Sr.

Lloyd A. Snyder Sr., 78, of 1118 Exeter St., died Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since July 24.

He was the husband of Louise K. (Mack) Snyder.

Born in Muhlenberg Township, he was a son of the late Walter and Katie (Herb) Snyder.

Snyder was employed for 30 years as a serviceman by D.J. Witman Co., Muhlenberg Township, retiring in 1979.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He was a past president and trustee of the Northmont Fellowship Club and a former president of Allied Democratic Clubs of Berks County.

Snyder is also survived by three sons: Clyde R., Laureldale; Lloyd A. Jr., Temple; and Bruce P., at home.

Other survivors include a sister, Dorothy Frederick, Mohnton; and three brothers. Walter, Ephrata, Lancaster County; Carl, Muhlenberg Park; and John, Riverview Park.

There are also five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 10 a. m. in the Sanders Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
