Rev. Cummings was born on April 26, 1950 to Bernice A. Cummings and Hazel G. Cummings in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023 in Shreveport.
Rev. Cummings was a resident of Shreveport and an ordained minister for 45 years. He was the Chaplain of the Guest House in Shreveport. He served the community in numerous local charities and was also involved in the prison ministry. He was a CDL truck driver and a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the LSU Tigers.
Rev. Cummings is preceded in death by his parents, Bernice and Hazel Cummings. Left to cherish his memory is his son, Michael Cummings; daughter, Angela Braley and husband, Alonzo; grandsons, Dylan Cummings, Dean Braley and Jacob Braley; God-grandson, Romelus Culpepper (RJ); brother, Ronnie Cummings and wife, Gretna; and sister, Mary Nichols and husband, Rodney.
