Edna Eileen Riffey , 90 of Carlinville, passed away Monday afternoon, March 7, 2016, at Pleasant Hill Village in Girard, IL. Eileen was born February 18, 1926, in Lesterville, MO, one of ten children born to Nathaniel and Gertrude (Maples) Alcorn. She married Lowell Raymond Riffey on August 19, 1950, in St. Louis, MO. and they raised two children.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, 6 brothers and 3 sisters.

Eileen was a stay at home mother and enjoyed sewing, fishing and yodeling. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church where she held several positions with in the church and Illinois Baptist Campers on Mission.

Edna is survived by her husband, Ray Riffey of Carlinville, IL, son, Roger Lynn (Lisa) Riffey of Houston, TX, daughter, Patricia Ann (Chip) Hiestand of Princeton, WI, 4 grandchildren and a great granddaughter.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville, IL. Funeral Services will be conducted at Noon, Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Cliff Woodman and Chaplin Terry Link officiating.

Burial will be Pleasant Hill Cemetery in rural Girard, IL.

Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church Missions or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
