Janie M. Tasco, age 78, of LaBelle, MO, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, in Quincy, IL. She was born December 25, 1944, in Lewis County, MO the daughter of Ralph Cecil and Dois Ivy Manley Clay. She was married to Fredward Allen Tasco on July 6, 1966, and he preceded her in death on April 18, 1985.

Janie graduated from LaBelle High School. She was employed for several years at LaBelle Manor Care Nursing Home in LaBelle. Janie enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and spending time with her church family and grandkids. She was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in LaBelle, MO.

Surviving are her children, Dana Parrish and Scott of LaBelle, MO, Christina Tasco of LaBelle, MO, Keith Tasco and Louann of LaBelle, MO, Kevin Tasco and Raquel of Jacksonville, IL, Fredrick Tasco and Theresa of Quincy, IL, Charlene Coleman of LaBelle, MO, two step children, Terry Clark of Columbia, MO and Torye Tasco of Mexico, MO, twenty-six grandchildren, sixty-two great grandchildren, three brothers David Clay and Mildred of Canton, MO, Linney Clay of LaBelle, MO and Dwight Clay of LaBelle, MO and several nieces and nephews. Janie was preceded in death by her parents, one son Denny Tasco, one brother Ralph Louis Clay and one grandchild Kandice Ivy Tasco.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 26, 2023 in the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, MO. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. and services will begin at 2 p.m. in the Coder Funeral Chapel.

Pastor James Salter will officiate the services. Burial will be in the LaBelle Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Keithen Tasco, Curtis Smith, Garin Smith, Derick Smith, Judell Ray, Todd Tasco and Sheldon Tasco.

Interment will be in the LaBelle Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Mt. Olive Baptist Church or the American Diabetes Association. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Coder Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 151, LaBelle, MO 63447.
