Laura Adams, 11, Dies Of Injuries From Fall Near Home

Laura P. Adams, 11, 29 North Gibson Avenue, died Thursday in Community Hospital of injuries suffered in a fall while walking home Saturday.
Her Mother, Judy Adams, said her daughter slipped on wet asphalt in the fall near their home. Cause of death was a skull fracture, the Marion County coroner's office said. The girl had just completed the fifth grade at Moorhead School , 8400 East 10th Street. She was a member of Girl Scout Troop 471 and played for the Twins in the Warren Township Girls Softball League.
She was born at Bloomington and had lived here for about the last 10 years.
A memorial service is pending. Arrangements are being made by Flanner and Buchanan Shadeland Mortuary.
Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.

Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William F. Adams; a brother, Stephen F. Adams, at home, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Troy Gifford, Robert G. Adams and Mrs. Frances M. Brown, all of Indianapolis.
