Carrie L. Kasper, 75, of Parkwood Nursing Home, Phenix City, died Thursday at her home. A memorial service will be scheduled, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Phenix City. Mrs. Kasper was born in 1913 in Columbus, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jessie James Scott. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Herbert "Butch" Kasper Jr. of Opelika, Alabama; two daughters, Caroline Wilson of Birmingham, and Mary Quick of Griffin, Georgia; four sisters: Annie Johnson and Mary Gory, both of Phenix City, Ruth Hiller of Opelika and Aileen Calhoun of Cusetta, Alabama; nine grandchildren.
