Carlotta Frances Young, 95, of Upper Lake, died at a local convalescent hospital on July 25, 1991. She was a native Californian, born on June 28, 1896 in Taylorsville and had lived in Lake County for nine years. Prior to coming here, she resided in San Francisco for 50 years.
She was employed as a secretary for Dr. Lloyd Hardgrave for 40 years and was a member of the Plumas Rebekah Lodge No. 27 in Greenville, Calif. She also was a member of the Plumas County Historical Society and the Lake County Historical Society.
Surviving are one sister, Stella O'Conner of Lakeport; a niece, Lorraine Gattop, also of Lakeport; and several other nieces and nephews. Graveside services and burial will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30 at the Taylorsville Cemetery in Taylorsville. Mr. Robert Cooke will officiate. Arrangements are by Jones Mortuary in Lakeport.
