Mrs. Turner was born the daughter of Samuel Newman Cooper and Margaret Florence Howard Cooper on June 17, 1951, in Lane, SC.
She was a retired machine operator with Oneita Knitting Mills. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and fishing. Her greatest pride was being a loving mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren.
She is survived by: her son, Walter Turner (Erica); five grandchildren, Randi Newton (Patrick); Shane Turner, Levi Turner, Donna Turner, and Jakob Turner; and a great-granddaughter, Carlynn. She is also survived by her siblings, Florence Wilder, Ann Casselman (David), and Samuel "Buck" Cooper; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Janice Etheridge.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
