She was born on October 2, 1927 in Lafayette, IN to the late John "Jack" and Mae (Klippel) Butz.
Alberta graduated as Valedictorian from St. Francis High School in 1944.
On January 18, 1947, she married William "Bill" Warwick in St. Boniface Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on July 29, 1996.
Alberta's first job was for Fashion Downtown and then she went to work for the Social Security office. She then went to work as a bookkeeper for her brother's business, Camera Craftsman, where she also painted the color onto black and white photos.
Alberta was a parishioner of St. Boniface Catholic Church and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, 40 & 8, and the Navy Club Ship 12 Auxiliary.
She enjoyed bowling and playing cards, especially Euchre. "If your not having a good time, it's your own fault" -Alberta
Surviving are three children; one brother; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son, William Warwick; four brothers; one sister; and son-in-law, Dan Smith.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Boniface Catholic Church with Father Jeff Martin officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM with a Rosary at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery.
