age 58 was unexpectedly taken into the arms of the Father on Sunday, May 27, 2012. Linda was born on Jan. 11, 1954 in Parsons, W.Va.
She is preceded in death by her father, John J. Barr, and her mother, Helen J. (Sturms) Harsh. Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory Terry L. Capper, husband of 34 years; aunt and uncle, Rodney and Mavis Sturms; step daughter, Lisa Johnson and her husband Chris; son, John Capper and his wife Christa; grandson, Billy Johnson, as well as many members of her extended family, cousins, and her multitude of friends. Linda spent her life as an extremely faith filled and devout Christian, serving others as a social worker, and being a wonderful wife, mother, and friend. Linda enjoyed spending time in her flower gardens, feeding the birds, her Facebook friends, her Native American heritage, and most especially her dogs: Shawna, Dixie, and Pete.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012 in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 with funeral services to follow at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Marvin Jack Mayle officiating. Linda will be returning home to her beloved West Virginia for her final resting-place in Parsons City Cemetery, Parsons, W.Va.
