He was born June 25, 1945 to the late Delbert E. and Lillian H. (Hartzel) Hoffman.
Gary graduated from Perry Joint High School in 1961.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Gary worked fourteen years with the Philadelphia National Bank in Computer Operations and was an Eastern Regional Representative for On-line Remote Banking Services. Later, he worked seventeen years with Electronic Data Systems (EDS) as a Local Area Network (LAN) Administrator and Communications Specialist where he was responsible for On-line Communication Installations in Japan, Guam, Phillipines, and U.S. Naval Bases in Florida. After EDS, he was employed by the Rite Aid Corporation as a LAN Administrator and Computer Repair Technician.
He was a member of the Newport Assembly of God.
Gary is survived by his wife: Twila Hoffman; his daughter: Tawny L Rondeau; his son: Glen C. Hoffman;
his five grandchildren; his two great-grandchildren; his sister: Tracey (Michael) Sudia; and, his brothers: Steve Hoffman and Reed (Barbara) Hoffman.
A Memorial Service will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 09, 2023 in Newport Assembly of God Church, 253 North Sixth Street, Newport.
