The funeral of Mrs. R. S. McDonald, who died on
Saturday last was held last Monday morning at eleven o'clock and the internment occurred in Friendship Cemetery at that time,
Rev. T. W. Lewis performing the last sad religious rites at the grave.
The following were the pall bearers Messrs. Joe Peacher, John Williams, R. J. Gunter, M. S. Franklin, L. A. Vaughan, D. S. McClanahan.
Ida Belle Curtis was the daughter of Benjamin Curtis and Esther Caples. She married Robert S. McDonald on January 29, 1881 in White County, Indiana. Their known children are Benjamin Curtis McDonald, Maud McDonald, Berta Valeria McDonald, Ella McDonald, John Walker McDonald, Esther Ann McDonald, and Maybelle McDonald.
