Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of the late Lewis Albert and Rebecca Irene (Raysor) Bindschusz. Lewis spent most of his life as a truck driver for local trucking firms Jones Motor Freight, Scout Trucking, Eves Trucking Company, Reifsnyders/Earth Care, and Valley Forge Land Clearing. After his driving career, he worked at the Technical College High School, Pickering Campus as a custodian retiring in 2018. He enjoyed camping, fishing and cruises.
Lewis is survived by his children, Lewis Bindschusz, II, Terry (Kathryn) Bindshusz, Kevin (Tammy) Bindschusz, Lu Anne Bindshusz, Susan (Charles) Ewing, James Fetterman and 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren. Lewis also is survived by his companion Joanne Arnold and his cat, Patches. He was preceded in death by his children Connie Smith, Danny Bindschusz, Robbie Bindschusz, Sr. and Robbie W. Bindschusz.
