Caroll Boyd Adams of Seymour

Caroll Boyd Adams, 78, of Seymour died at 8:15 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Seymour with the Rev. Steve Cherry officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Purdue University for academic scholarships to the School of Science or School of Engineering, or to Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge.

Mr. Adams is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Wethington Adams; children, Sharon (David) Copler of Floyd Knobs, Dr. Mary Beth Adams of Elkins, W.Va., Lt. Col. Kevin (Tracie) Adams of Centerville, Ohio, Tami (Ron) Wolownik of Alpharetta, Ga., and Mona (Mike) McClellan of Columbus; brothers, James Adams of Munster and Berl Adams of Monroe City; a sister, Dorothy Parker of Vincennes; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
