Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services Monday, May 17, at 1:30 p.m. at Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock, with concluding obsequies at St. Jacob's (Stone) Church, near Glenville. Interment in adjoining cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.
MRS. HENRY HERSH
Mrs. Sadie Bricker Hersh, 59, wife of Henry Hersh, Spring Grove R.D. 2, near Jefferson, died at 10:56 a.m. yesterday in the Hanover General Hospital, where she was admitted 12 days ago. She had been in ill health for the past six months.
She was a member of the Lutheran congregation of St. Jacob's (Stone) Church, Glenville.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include four children, Stewart L., Claude E. and Robert E. Hersh, all of Seven Valleys R.D., and Mrs. Clyde Shearer, Spring Grove R.D. 2; 11 grandchildren, her mother, Mrs. Harry E. Bricker, Dover R.D.; and eight brothers and sisters, John H. Bricker, Shrewsbury; Mrs. Roland W. Shaffer, York R.D. 6; George A. Bricker, York; Jacob R. Bricker, Brodbecks R.D.; Mrs. John F. Louey, Stewartstown R.D. 1; Mrs. Clarence Bailey, New Freedom; Mrs. Jacob S. Hoke, Seven Valleys, and Mrs. Leroy Mummert, Hanover R.D. 1.
Funeral services will be held at the H. C. Geiple and Son Funeral Home, Glen Rock, Monday at 1:30 p.m. with further rites in St. Jacob's Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Kenneth S. Ehrhart, her pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home between 6 and 8 p.m. Sunday.
