Mary Ruth is preceded in death be her loving husband, James Robert Ott; parents, Robert Luther and Lillie Mae Laugherty Sise; sister, Helen E. Witenbarger; brothers Carl Edward Sise; special nephew Darrell Widener.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Jerry Childress; special grandson and wife, James and Melodi Childress who she considered her granddaughter; great granddaughter and love of her life, Lily Jean Childress; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Mary Ruth Sise; sister, Grace Holt; brother-in-law, Lee Stokes; and sister, Henrietta Widener.
Family and friends will gather at 12:45 pm on Tuesday October 17,2023 for a 1:00 pm graveside service at Berry Highland South Cemetery in the Garden of The Gospels, officiated by pastor Doug Inman.
