Bernard Wojcik
Bernard L. Wojcik, of Box 553, RD 8, Mountaintop died Friday morning at home. Born in Hazleton, Oct. 5. 1923.

He was the son of the late Andrew and Mary Ryonski Wojcik. He was a resident of Mountaintop for the last 39 years and had been employed as a custodian for the Crestwood School District. Mr. Wojcik was a World War II Army veteran, serving in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, Dorrance and the Mountaintop American Legion Post 781.

Surviving are his wife, the former Stephanie Hilenski; son, Bernard M., Dorrance; one grandson; sister, Mrs. Anna Brutoski, Nuremberg; brothers, Andrew, Wilmington, Del.; Joseph, John and Edward, all of Hazleton; Theodore, Tomhicken.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from the Desiderio Funeral Home, Inc., 436 South Mountain Blvd., Mountaintop with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in St. Mary's Church, Dorrance. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Dorrance.

Friends may call Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
