MILTON, Deward G. Allen, 64, of Northrop Road died Monday afternoon in a local hospital.

Mr. Allen was a native of West Virginia but had resided in Milton for the past 27 years. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran and a member of the Margaret Street Church of Christ in Milton.

Family members include: his wife, Betty Ruth Allen of Milton; two sons, D. Marvin Allen of Miami, Steven M. Allen of Milton; three daughters, JoAnn Allen of Miami, Linda Gail Alexander of Shreveport, LA, Zarna Wallace of Garland, TX.; four brothers, William F. Allen of Fairmont, WV, Robert M. Allen of Andover, OH., Terrance E. Allen of Ravanna, OH, Larry K. Allen of Lawrenceville, GA.; four sisters, Naomi Jackson of Wellsburg, WV., Barbara Goulstan of Greensboro, NC., Ruthie Jones of Richmond, VA., Twyla Jean Kocher of Mentor, OH.; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A. M.. Thursday from the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Minister David Myers officiating.

Burial will follow at Serenity Gardens with Lewis Funeral Home directing.

Friends may call from 5 P. M. to 9 P. M. Wednesday at the Lewis Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be: Ronald M. Miller, Johnny L. Miller Jr., Craig A. Weir, H. Ernest Cross, Terry W. Richard Sr., Glenn A. White and Michael W. Crawley.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Ted L. Russell, Billie A. Kilpatrick, Miles Walder, Richard Bigner, Jack Locklin Sr., and Dr. Harry H. Latourette.
