Besides his wife, of the home, Mr. Bigham is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ralph Frazier of DeKalb, and a son, George William Bigham, Rushville; a sister, Mrs. Frank Easter, Gower, and six grandchildren. One daughter, Mrs. Joseph Haw died in 1950.
From 1913 to 1917, Mr. Bigham operated a grocery store in Atchison, but the land was his first love and to it he was loyal to the end of his life.
The body lay in state at the Vaughn Chapel until services at the Salem Christian church Wednesday afternoon at 2:30. He was a member of that church. Burial was in Mt. Bethel cemetery. The Rev. O.H. Loomis, former pastor at Salem; officiated. Pallbearers were: Perm Easter, Jim Lester, Loyd Lundy, J.A. Vandrell, L.H. Bigham and Bill Bigham.
