Mrs. Margie Lee Hamacher, 84, of Durham, died on Thursday, April 10, 2008. Mrs. Hamacher was born in Ware Shoals, SC to the late Benjamin Perry Bagwell and Minnie Lee Brooks Bagwell. She had lived in Durham most of her life and was currently living with family in Mebane. Mrs. Hamacher retired after 40 years with Burlington Industries. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Hamacher. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all. She is survived by two sons, Tommy Hamacher and wife, Wanda, of Roxboro and Henry Hamacher, of N. Charleston, SC; three daughters, Gloria Teasley and husband, Mack, of Cary, Frieda Gentry and husband, Craig, of Roxboro and Sherry Tart and husband, Bill Tuck, of Virgilina, Va.; grandchildren, Richard Taylor, Michael Taylor, David Taylor, C. J. Dunn, Henry Hamacher, Jr., Randall Hamacher, Albert Hamacher, Nelson Ragan, Jr., Stephen Gentry, Lynn Penny, Terry Lewis, Mack Teasley, Jr. and fifteen great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens with Rev. Marc Francis officiating.
