Donald H. "Don" Prettyman, 88, of Duluth, MN, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022. He was born on December 17, 1933 in Francesville, IN to the late Merl and Alma (Peters) Prettyman. Don married Mary Ann Gay in Ashland, WI on September 15, 1959. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Don worked as a soil scientist for the US Forest Service and the University of Minnesota. After his retirement, Don started his own company.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter; one brother; and many nieces and nephews. Donald was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Jeffrey Prettyman; and six siblings - Roger Devon Prettyman, Robert James Prettyman, Charles Richard Prettyman, Ralph Neil Prettyman, Doris Arlene Getz and Ronald Edgar Prettyman.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Winamac Cemetery (Town Addition) in Winamac, IN. The VFW and American Legion will conduct military graveside services.
