Henrico – Shirley Brann Beatley, 88, formally of Reedville, passed away on October 2, 2023. Shirley was a retired nurse and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Reedville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob L. and Lillian F. Brann and her husband of 55 years, William H. Beatley. She is survived by her daughters Valerie Bowles (Sam) of Henrico and Felicia Beatley of Glen Allen; grandson Randall Bowles (Misty) of Clayton, NC; great-grandson Maddux Bowles; sisters-in-law Betsy Brann of Reedville and Edith Metzler (Bill) of Richmond; and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held for the family.
The family would like to thank the management and staff of Manorhouse Assisted Living and the staff of Suncrest Hospice for the love and care they provided.
The family requests that those wishing to remember Shirley do so with a contribution to a charity or organization of their choice.
