Young Man Dies After Operation
Archeleus DeTienne, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles DeTienne, who reside about 12 miles northeast of town, died at the Mercy hospital at Williston Sunday following an operation for appendicitis. The young man who was about 21 year of age, had only been suffering for a few days and it was not until Saturday that he was compelled to take to his bed. Dr. Sayles of this city was called and he at once ordered him taken to a hospital, which was done immediately. He was operated on upon his arrival but the disease had progressed too far and he died the following night.
The remains were brought to this city Tuesday evening and the will be held this Thursday afternoon from the Congregational church.
The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the sorrowing ones in their bereavement.
