Bard was a Sales Account Manager and worked for Danzer Veneer America for 28 years. He was a member of the Marlboro Yacht Club, Marlboro, NY for 44 years. He joined at the age of 16. He was a member of the Harris Bay Yacht Club on Lake George, NY. He was a member for 37 years. Bard graduated from Marlboro Central High School and attended Dutchess Community College.
In addition to his mother Joan Marie Presler, Bard is survived by two sister's Ember Barda Presler of Marlboro NY, and April Gail (Joseph) Certoma of North Carolina. Two nephews, Brendon and Barrett Certoma also of North Carolina.
Bard was a protective and loving son to his mother, sister's Ember and April. He enjoyed spending time with his family and close friends.
Bard was an avid outdoors man. He enjoyed spending time in the Catskill Mountains and Adirondack Mountains skiing, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting and boating. He enjoyed eagle and bird watching. He enjoyed driving the backcountry roads and exploring. He enjoyed traveling and going on cruises.
Calling hours will be held at the DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W Marlboro, NY on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 9:30am – 11:30am. Followed by entombment at The Cedar Hill Mausoleum, Middlehope, NY.
