Patrick James Shripka born June 22, 1950 to James and Gwendolyn Shripka in Saginaw, Michigan. He passed away at home September 6, 2023 at the age of 73.
Loving husband of Susan for 46 years. Dearest brother Gary (Janet) and late Kevin Troper (Cheryl) .Sister in law Shirley (Ed) Herman and brother in law Gary(Nancy) Verardi. Pat is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Pat was very proud to serve in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and received a Bronze Star for ground operations against hostile forces. He felt a dedication to the Vietnam Veterans Organization. We flew his American flag proudly.
Throughout Pat's life he made numerous meaningful friendships, through his work, meeting customers, neighbors and through his hobby of restoring classic cars. Pat was very proud of all the awards he won at major car shows for his restoration work.
Friends may visit on Sunday, September 10th from 3:00pm – 8:00pm at Wasik Funeral Home, Inc at 49150 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Twp. Funeral services will be held on Monday September 11, 2023 at 11:00am at the funeral home, where he will receive a full military honors.
