Kevin Trosper, age 62, of Van Alstyne, TX, beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, friend, artist, technologist, and writer passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 4. Born in Bedford, IN, raised in Mitchell and Mooresville, IN, He graduated from Mooresville High School and enlisted in the US Air Force, stationed in Minot, ND. There he began a lifelong journey led by curiosity, science, art, and technology, which he pursued in his career and creative endeavors.

Kevin is survived by his wife and best friend, Terri Trosper, and his children Kenny Ray Tallent, Liz Trosper, Brynne Gutierrez, Megan Priscilla Trosper and grandchildren, Leah Tallent, Trey Gutierrez, Keghan Tallent, Logan Gutierrez, Makenna Marie Friend, Solomon Canales, Garrett Gutierrez. His siblings Cindy Ford, Dan Hazel (Chris), Robin Heckman, Derek Lee (Tina), his cousins Faron Trosper, Dave Trosper, his aunt Karen Trosper, his uncles, Dan Ingram and Larry Ingram, Janie Ingram Christianson (John). Tandi Smerek (Don), Wendy Hott (Ricky), Dwayne Tucker; and two dogs, Poco and Zoey.

He is preceded in death by his mother Geneva Lee, his stepfather, Lyle Lee, his father, Paul Trosper and his uncle, Don Trosper. Pall bearers are John Christianson, Andy Canales, Carson Davis, Cody Friend, Logan Gutierrez, Ricky Gutierrez, Trey Gutierrez, Derek Haste, and Dan Hazel.

Funeral services will be held in Kevin's honor at 2 pm on Tuesday, Oct. 10, with visitation at 1 pm at Scoggins Funeral Home at 637 W. Van Alstyne Pkwy., Van Alstyne, TX.
