Stanley Vace Akin was the 3rd child of 10 and 2nd son of 6 sons born to Robert Marion Akin b.5 Feb 1856 in Burkesville, Cumberland Co., KY & d.28 Jan 1929 in Moody, McLennan Co., TX and to Lettie Ann Russell b.19 Dec 1865 in KY & d.11 Mar 1952 in Dallas, TX and who were married on 5 Aug 1879 in Clay Co., TN.

He married Lizzie Lee Morgan on 10 Dec 1911 in McLennan Co., TX. Lizzie was b.26 Jan 1893 in Moody, McLennan Co., TX & d.5 Dec 1964 in Waco, McLennan Co., TX. Her parents, Richard Morgan and Mary Alice Nicholson were also from Cumberland Co., KY.

Stanley and Lizzie had at least two children, I am aware of, and they were:

1. James Garnett Akin aka Garnett b.abt 28 Jun 1916 in Moody, McLennan Co., TX & d.9 Apr 2014 in Temple, Bell Co., TX.
