Raymond Milton Loar, passed away June 22, 2021 at The Cottages of New Lenox Assisted Living Home after a long battle with cancer. He was 81.
He was born in Alsip, IL on September 7, 1939. He is preceded in death by parents Oliver and Charlotte (nee Crafts) Loar; brother Oliver Loar; sisters, Phyllis Albrecht, Marjorie Tring, Dorothy Manning, and Janet Johnson.
He is survived by his wife Patricia (Posthuma) Loar; daughter, Paula (Michaels) Kantor, Patricia (Robert) Tures, Mary Otis, Kelly (Dennis) Jadin, Christy (Leon) Baine, and Nicole (David) Bradford. Ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed hanging out with friends and his loyal dog Max.
We are grateful for neighbor Nick Misch and family, all caregivers at The Cottages of New Lenox, Solace Hospice (Nancy) and resident friend Dave Phelps for watching over and taking such great care of him during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations to dementia or cancer research in Raymonds name would be appreciated.
