Mary Alice Beal Crawford was the wife of James Vernon Crawford of Uniontown. She is survived by two sons, James Vernon Crawford II of Franktown, Colorado, and Donald Ray Crawford of Uniontown. She is also survived by three grandchildren who loved her very much, Leigh Anna Crawford Cayere of Woodbridge, VA, James (Jay) Vernon Crawford III of Brighton, Colorado, and Donald Ray Crawford II of Hopwood.

She was the daughter of George W. Beal and Artie Jeffries Beal of New Salem. Her father died in 1933 and her mom died a tragic death in 1915 when Alice was only six years of age. She was survived by one sister, Mildred Odessa Beal McBurney of New Salem who recently died in 1997, and one brother, Emmett Ray Beal who recently died as well on 1/9/2008. She was predeceased by brother Howard Beal who died in 1953.
