Linda Faye Haley Mixon, 83, of Amarillo and previous years, Corsicana area, passed this life on Monday October 1, 2023. She was born in Dawson on August 2, 1940, to Clifton Haley and Lois Perteet. Linda graduated from Dawson High School in 1958 and married Leonard L. Mixon on June 6, 1960. Linda was a member of the First United Methodist Women's Auxiliary and served on the Boardtree Cemetery board for many years. Linda was a member of First United Methodist Church of Corsicana and transferred her membership to Polk Street United Methodist Church in 2022. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels in Amarillo and was active with the church within the Online Community at PSUMC.

She is survived by her two daughters, Machelle Ann Mixon, and Angela Faye Ball (Dale Ball), and 4 grandchildren, Rhett Schuman (Mary Ellen), Hailey Ball, Taylor Ann Mixon, and Bree Mixon.

Visitation will be Saturday afternoon from 1-2 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home following services at the Chapel at 2 and graveside to follow at Boardtree Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be given to Boardtree Cemetery or Union High Fire Station in her honor.
