PGR has been asked to provide an escort and flag line for Army Veteran Vernon "Sleepy" Avant on Tuesday, October 24, and we will be honored to do so. During his three years in the service, Mr. Avant was a Combat Medic during the Korean Conflict where he was awarded the Purple Heart after sustaining major injuries after stepping onto a land mine. He lost his leg in the incident, but remarkably went on to have a career on the rodeo circuit as a bull rider, after being fitted with an extra-duty prosthetic.

KSU to CCCVC: 1415 (2:15 PM)
