Henry Anthony Ramsey, beloved father, grandfather, and retired Master Sergeant, passed away on September 30, 2023, in Owasso, Oklahoma. He was born on September 26, 1936, and his life was a testament to his love for family, faith, and the great outdoors.

Henry had a profound passion for music, especially the guitar, which he skillfully played, creating melodies that resonated with his soul. His love for music was paralleled by his enthusiastic appreciation for all sports, be it football, basketball, baseball or golf. He embraced the spirit of competition and relished the excitement of the game.

A dedicated and honorable man, Henry served his country for over 20 years in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. His commitment to duty and his fellow soldiers was unwavering, earning him the respect of all who served alongside him.

In his leisure time, Henry found solace in the quiet moments of fishing and the joys of camping, often sharing these cherished experiences with his children. He had a particular affection for the great outdoors, spending many peaceful hours on his swing, basking in the beauty of nature in his later years.

Henry's faith was a cornerstone of his life. When he gave his heart to the Lord, he took that commitment seriously, dedicating himself to the study of the Bible and the teachings of Christianity.

Above all, Henry's greatest love was reserved for his family and his beloved grandkids. He shared his wisdom, his passions, and his unwavering love with each of them. His children, Lance Ramsey, and wife Debra, Robert Ramsey, Jason Ramsey and wife Stephanie, will forever carry the lessons and love he instilled in them. He leaves behind a legacy of devoted grandkids, including Aaron Ramsey and wife Nancy, Alysia Robb and husband Tanner, Alexis Ramsey-Garza and husband Kevin Garza, Lance G. Ramsey, and Anthony Ramsey.

Henry is now reunited with his parents, Opal Eatheal and Goldmon Seth Ramsey; his wife, Wilma Dean Ramsey; his brother, Russell G. Ramsey; his sister, Betty Odalee Lee; and his sister, Naomi Douglas; and great grandchild Celeste Iris Garza who was born sleeping. Their spirits now gather together in eternal peace.
