PVT Co 4th Michigan Volunteers. Was discharged general disability at Gallatin, TN, December 27,1862. Regained his health he enlisted in Co C 13th Regiments at Washington DC. discharged at Washington DC June 8 1895

Was a resident of Osceola County, Iowa for approximately for 34 years.

Was a member of the LG Ireland Post of Sibley. In 1907 moved to Ruthven, Iowa.
Two years ago he moved to his daughters in Wolverton, MN
