George Elmer McCullough married Bernice after the death of his 1st wife, Madia Lillian (Staab) McCullough. His name is on a stone shared with Madia in Ansley Cemetery, Ansley, NE. George remarried and is buried in Wyoming beside his 2nd wife, Bernice.

BERNICE McCULLOUGH

RIVERTON—Combined funeral services for Bernice McCullough and Don Green were conducted Saturday at the Davis Funeral Chapel with interment at the Mountain View Cemetery, both of Riverton.

Pallbearers for Mrs. McCullough were Lonnie Corr, Jim Corr, Guy Green, Michael Green, Neil Corr, and Trevor Corr. Honorary pallbearers were Floyd Westlake, Elmer Brothwell, Marvin Mendenhall, Jigs Black and Norval Justice.

Her son died elsewhere and there were joint services.

Mrs. McCullough, 88, of 3723 Madison Drive, Rock Springs, died at 5:25 a.m. Thursday, July 20, 1989 at the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County where she had been a patient since July 14.

A resident of Rock Springs for the past two years and former resident of Pavillion, Mrs. McCullough had been in ill health the past two years. She was born on Nov. 1, 1900 in Arnold, Neb., the daughter of the late Charles and Cora Judkins Davis. She attended schools in Arnold. She married Bert Green on May 11, 1931 in Arnold and they homesteaded in the Pavillion area in 1939. Green preceded her in death May 12, 1966. She later married George McCullough in Pavillion on April 11, 1970 and he preceded her in death on Nov. 29, 1970.

Mrs. McCullough was a member of the Sunnyside Nazarene Church, the Grange and the American Association of Retired Persons.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Mrs. McCullough was preceded in death by two sons, Don Green, who died July 19, 1989 and Cloice Green; three brothers and two sisters.
