Lloyd died at his home in Prosser of Parkinson's dementia, after nearly 3 month hospice care. In his younger years Lloyd was an avid bicyclist, accumulating well over 100,000 miles traveled. Lloyd was joined in marriage to Norma Jean née Boyle on August 2, 1951 in Sunnyside, Washington, and they remained happily married for 58 years, until Norma's passing. Sometime later, Lloyd met Barbara Joyce Larsen and they began a 15 year relationship that included extensive volunteer work for the Prosser Museum and for Find a Grave®. Lloyd was the photographer and Joyce had the good computer skills. So they joined forces, and began traveling to cemeteries, around the state, to explore, photograph headstones, and input the data and photos onto the computer. They were also active members of the local coffee group, where they shared much fun with other retirees. Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, and their son Steve Tinker, and he is survived by two children Tamara ("Tami") and Dennis. (Bio by: Jay Lance)
