Muncie Chapel News: "Mrs. Dock Wells died at her home April 21 of influenza. Reverend Mark Combs conducted funeral services at Corsicana Cemetery where the remains were laid to rest. She leaves a husband and four small children to mourn her departure."

Update May 2012: "I have photographed the entire cemetery and have spent many hours there restoring headstones, there is no existing headstone for Mrs. Doc Wells.

Update 8/1/2023: No headstone, but foot marker of S.W. is next to D.E. Wells (her spouse), and this marker is behind Elizabeth Wells headstone (D.E. Wells mother). No others by the initials S. W. indicated being in this cemetery. By: D. Golubski
