Malissa A. Hardtke

Malissa A. Hardtke, 70, a resident of Olympia for four years, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 1992, in Evergreen Convalescent Center, Olympia.

She was born Nov. 4, 1922, in Colorado, where she was graduated from college with a B.A. degree. She came to Washington from Colorado in 1954 and lived in Seattle and Tacoma before coming to Olympia.

She was married to Ralph F. Hardtke on Nov. 14, 1987, in Puyallup.

Mrs. Hardtke was employed as a secretary by Safeway Inc. Bellevue for 13 years.
She enjoyed sewing, and was a member of the Olympia Chapter No. 36 Order of the Eastern Star, Tumwater, and the Order of Amaranth, Auburn.

Surviving Mrs. Hardtke, besides her husband of the family home, are a stepson, . . .; a daughter, . . . ; a stepdaughter, . . . ; also four grandchildren.

At the family's request, there will be no funeral service for Mrs. Hardtke.
The family suggests memorial donations may be made to the Amaranth Youth Scholarship.
Arrangements are by Mills and Mills Funeral Home, Olympia.
