Walter Sellers, 86, passed to glory on Wednesday, April 25, 2007, surrounded by loved ones.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Burial: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Walter Sellers was a loving Dad and Pawpaw. He served in the Army during World War II. For many years his business, Sellers Excavating, prepared lots for home builders. He was born March 19, 1921, in Hillsboro and baptized at age 18. Walter was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Sellers; son, Jerry Sellers; stepson, Marshall Smith; and all of his brothers and sisters.
Survivors: His son, Kenneth Sellers and wife, Lou; grandchildren, Alan Sellers and wife, Brenda, Julie Rosiek and husband, Steve, Marty Smith, Penny Martinez and husband, Ray, and Tina Smith; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Alexandra, Ethan, Alissa, Reagan, Stevie Marie, Jesse and Quetzal; and numerous nieces and nephews.
