Eula married James Andrew "Jimmy" Wofford on Aug. 30, 1894 in Etowah Co., AL. Eula had fair complexion, dark auburn hair and was a tiny lady much like her mother, Nancy. Eula and daughters, Erma and Nannie, all died in the summer of 1908 of typhoid fever. Another child, Tatum, almost died from the illness, but lived to adulthood. Eula and Erma died in Oklahoma. Little Nannie became ill on the train back to Alabama and died and was buried in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Other children born to Eula and Jimmy: Elihu "Eli" Wofford-died as a child from a fall at school, Matthew "Matt"-lived to adulthood, Jimmy Wofford-buried Atkins, Okla., and Dorothy Eula Wofford Anglen died at age 98 in California.
