Peggy Berniece was born to Harry Melton and Edith Honeywell Freese on February 29, 1928 near Lucien, Oklahoma.

After graduating from Garber High School, she moved to Enid, where she married Leonard Earl Sharkey. While raising two sons, she worked for Long Bell Lumber Company, Central National Bank and became a real estate broker associated with the agencies of Bob Landes and Bill Garner.

After Leonard and Edith passed, she married James Billy Bandy in 1994.

She traveled well with both husbands, including 1960's two lanes to Miami and 1964 World's Fair in New York. She saw all fifty states, four continents and took cruises that lasted too long. Her card buddies and family dinners were lots of fun.
She is survived by her son, Roger Sharkey; Jo Lynne Sharkey, widow of her son Steve; her Honeywell cousins; her Freese nieces and nephews; her Bandy stepchildren, and their descendants.

When you feel lucky in this life, you want to live forever.
