Carl Oliver does suddenly Saturday at his Manteca residence. He was 33 years old.
A native of Stockton, he was a resident of Manteca for the past 21 years. He is survived by his mother, Emma Oliver of Manteca; one sister, Marie Delu of Oregon; and one brother, Eugene Oliver of Arkansas.
He worked for Holt Motors in Stockton as a salesperson for about a year. Graveside services will be held today at 10 a.m. in the Parkview Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Rehkopf officiating. P.L. Fry and Son in charge of arrangements.

At his death, Carl was also survived by his grandmother, Inez Wofford of Manteca and several aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him very much. He had been preceded in death by his father, Walter Oliver and his grandparents Henry F. Wofford of Oklahoma and Ross Carlton & Lula Oliver of Louisiana, as well as an aunt, Liddie Ayres, and two uncles, Everett Yates and Aaron Ayres.
Carl graduated from Manteca High School and later attended California Baptist University in Riverside, California.
