Clem Edgar Fannin Married Sylvetta Adkins and was the son of John D Fannin Jr. and Elizabeth Lakin. Clem D Fannin had spent alot of his years working as a fireman and engineer for the rail road. After hitting a car and killing one man he never could get over it and with the death of his first wife he quit. He was first married to a woman by the name Mary Magdalena Hunt most just called her "Lena". Her and Clem were married just about 23 years before her death in 1927. Clem and one of his sister's Ella who they called "Emma" moved back to the farm where they took care of there parents John and Elizabeth. The Fannin's grew alot of corn and wheat and had a peach orchard and some apples. This is when he met Sylvetta 31 years her senior. After the death of his wife Sylvetta, Clem had bought a tavern in Gallipolis Ohio. Him and the two children lived in Gallipolis Ohio for a couple of years before Clem sold the Tavern. He told the kids that they were going to move to Maryland were he had got a job at a Cotton Mill. Garnett went with her father and the son went to live with his grandpa Isaiah Adkins.
