Margaret Ann Kirks Adkins, 86, passed away on September 24, 2023. Margaret was born on April 11, 1937, to the late George Robert Kirks and Josie Pyrtle Kirks Martin. She attended St. Mark P.H. Church. She was a youth Sunday school teacher, sang in the choir, and was an active member of the ladies ministry. She enjoyed listening to gospel music, watching Hallmark movies, doing word searches, and spending time with her family.
She married Stanley Neal Adkins on November 26, 1958. He predeceased her on January 4, 2011. She is also predeceased by her sister Janie Payne, son-in-law Donnie Dodson, and brother-in-law (little brother) Kenny Adkins. She is survived by her two daughters Sharon Simms (Walter) and Sheila Dodson. Also surviving are grandchildren Faith Crews (Alex) and John Dodson (fiancé Erica Jones), brother-in-law Tommy Adkins (Jean), sister-in-law Toni Adkins, nephew Patrick Adkins (Hannah), and niece Wendy Payne.
