Peacefully with family by her side, Donna passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at Sault Area Hospital in her 88th year.
Donna was greatly loved and will be missed by her partner Orval Hotchkiss of 46 years and Schooner, predeceased by her husband Otto Abel .
Donna is the cherished mother of, Garnet Abel (Jane), Carmen Abel, Karen Abel-Kay (James) and Laurie Tromley (Ron).
Donna was predeceased by her granddaughter Kristy Lariviere (Albert), son Donald Abel and daughter Shirley Vickers (Darwin) and Robert Batenchuk.
Proud grandmother of Sheri Pereira (Carlos), Robert Batenchuk (Shelly), Michael Batenchuk, Lindsay Vickers, Garnet Abel Jr. (Farrah), Betty Depape (Darwin), Samantha Dyck (Bryan), Paul Rancourt, Delray Abel, Jake Abel, Katelin Burley (Eric) , Karrie Kay, Sabrina Duguay (Dustin) and Nick Tromley.
