EDEN- Aldean Wilson Whitt, 75, of 940 Lincoln Street, passed away at Morehead Memorial Hospital, late Saturday evening (April 29, 2006).
A funeral service will be held at the Spray Baptist Church on Wednesday May 3, 2006 at 2 p.m. with burial to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery in Ridgeway, Va.
Mrs. Whitt was born on April 3, 1931 in Spray (now Eden) to the late Boyd Thomas and Hattie Bell Moore Wilson. She was a member of the Spray Baptist Church and was self employed as a CNA.
She is survived by her son, Charles Whitt of Stoneville; sister Elnora Wilson Gilley and her late husband Leon of Eden; sister-in-law Sylvia DeHart Wilson of Eden; granddaughter Melinda Whitt Evans and husband Todd of Stoneville; great-grandchildren, Colby and Cally Evans; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Quecell Wilson.
