He enlisted in 1864. He had children with wife Caroline but she died in 1864. So he remarried to Elsie to take care of children. One child was 5 months old when she filed his death in court Genesse Co. NY. Elsie recieved papers on his death but his body was interred locally. Im creating a death record for family researchers to follow. My family are Thompsons, buried in Orleans and Genesee cemeteries where Caroline lies. Children names are recorded in these photo copies.
