Bruce A. Blakely age 72, of Lowell, passed away October 19, 2022 at Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital in East Grand Rapids. He was born August 3, 1951 in Haslett, the son of Clare H. & Joy A. (Hample) Blakely. He loved to listen to music, play his casino games on the computer, watch crime mysteries, play with his grandchildren, watch sports, collect sports cards and memorabilia, going to concerts, spending time with his wife and kids and was employed at Amway for 36 years. Bruce is survived by his wife Deberoh of 42 years; children Zachary Blakely of Lowell, Heather Brainard of Lowell, April Spaulding of Lowell, Carla Spaulding of Florida, Carrie Spaulding of Florida; mother Joy Blakely of Lake Odessa; 12 grandchildren Keagan and Ariana Ranger, Hunter and Tiffany Jenkins, Nevaeh Young, Kristiana Stevens, Serinity Spaulding, Cheryl and Katlynn Canimela, Jacob and Zoey Champlin and Aubrey Harris; three great grandchildren Hannah Spitler, Jaide Jenkins, and Jadis Ranger; brothers Randy Blakely and Kelly Blakely of Hastings and his sisters Jayne Blakely of Lake Odessa, Carol Gates of Lake Odessa, Sherly Freeman of Stanton and Brenda Spalding of Carson City. He was preceded in death by his father Clare Blakely, his sister Gay Blakely Thelen, his mother-in-law Joan Spalding, and sister in law Teresa Shondelmyer. His memorial service will be held on 2 PM Saturday November 12, 2022, at 9507 Stanton Road, Crystal, Mi, 48818. Anyone who knew him and wants to pay there final respects is welcome to join. There will be a luncheon afterwards.
