Specialist Trevor Lee Bernaudy-Hooks, 24, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.

A resident of Hinesville, Georgia for the past two years, Trevor was born on March 29, 1999 in Panorama City of Los Angeles California. While having spent most of his childhood in Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada, at the age of 16, Trevor moved to Orange, California and graduated from Orange High School where he was on the water polo team, briefly played basketball, and participated in wrestling and yearbook. After graduation, Trevor worked several odd jobs, including work as a security guard before joining the United States Army in July of 2020. Trevor had a strong passion for writing music and poetry, he enjoyed painting, swimming, and playing video games.

Survivors include his wife, Chosidy McMillian of Hinesville, Georgia; two sons, Kairo Hooks and Kyrie Hooks (who is on the way); mother, Yolanda Egbe of Las Vegas, Nevada; brother, Charles Braithwaite of Long Beach, California and two sisters, Zina Egbe of Long Beach California and Alexis Hooks of Henderson, Nevada. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members also survive.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Howard & Jones Funeral Home in Jesup. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Interment will be private.
