Rebecca "Becky" Stacy, age 68, of Piqua, went home to be with her Lord Sunday, March 11, 2018, at 10:08 P.M. surrounded by her loving family, at Ohio's Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit, Troy, OH. She was born September 24, 1949, in Troy, OH to the late Donald and Treva (Hahn) Wiegman. She married Dan W. Stacy on June 27, 1970, in Sidney, OH. He survives.
She is also survived by children: Shane & Heather Stacy, Mason, OH, Jennifer & Les Champlin, Bethel, OH, A.J. & Caitlin (Campbell) Stacy, Miamisburg, OH; one sister: Sue & Elery Swarts, Piqua, OH, several nieces and nephews; five grandchildren: Ty Carnes, Mac Carnes, Cash Carnes, Lauren Stacy, and Josie Stacy. She was preceded in death by one son: Jon Patrick Stacy.
Becky graduated from Piqua Central High School in 1967. She attended Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church. Becky was an extraordinary homemaker and loved antiquing. She was an animal lover and enjoyed reading. Becky loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her family meant everything to her. She was employed as a caregiver for 30 years at Piqua Memorial Hospital, Stouder Hospital, Upper Valley Medical Center, Heartland of Piqua, and Piqua Manor Nursing Home.
A Celebration of Becky's Life will be held Friday, March 16, 2018, at 10:00 A.M. at MELCHER-SOWERS FUNERAL HOME, Piqua with Pastor Mike Martin and Care Pastor Diana Begley officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
